More about me
A bit more about how I work and what I'm interested in, for anyone who wants the longer version.
How I work
- Evidence first. Every recommendation traces to a document or a conversation, and I show the working.
- Clear recommendations, not option papers. I say what I would do and why, including when the answer is "stop" or "buy it instead of building it".
- Small interventions before large programmes. The smallest credible move that tests the thesis.
- Direct. I'd rather give an uncomfortable answer early than a comfortable one late.
How I think about AI and organisations
- Judgment is the scarce resource. AI made output abundant, so what you choose to build matters more than how fast you can build it.
- AI tends to expose an organisation before it transforms one. The constraint is usually operating model, not model capability. Read more →
- Ownership and context beat headcount. Teams that hold both tend to move faster than larger ones that don't.
- Speed of iteration usually beats deliberation. Most of what stops you from shipping is made up. Read more →
- A legible point of view is worth more as writing gets cheaper. Write in public; it compounds.
How I'm wired
ADHD and autism are part of how I work: high intensity, deep curiosity, pattern recognition, and a strong bias towards action.
I work best at the intersection of technology, product and business — turning ambiguous problems into products, teams and momentum.
Angel investing
I angel invest small cheques where I can add value (technology/AI consulting, marketplaces, agentic systems, ROI-focused businesses), though most of my investing so far has been via secondaries and crowd rounds. If you're raising, reach out.
